A City Break Fit for a Pop Star!
Flora and her mum Aicha, supported by a Trefoil holiday grant, recently enjoyed a much‑needed break that helped them to laugh, lounge and luxuriate.
The short trip to Glasgow provided the perfect change of pace. They travelled by train, stayed in a central hotel, enjoyed meals out, went swimming, took time for pampering, and explored the city’s sights. Flora especially loved choosing a Taylor Swift worthy new outfit for the weekend!
Beyond the activities, the break brought meaningful benefits at home too. Flora’s brother was able to enjoy valuable one‑to‑one time with his dad, giving him the chance to rest and recharge.
Speaking about the experience, Aicha shared that the trip was “a brilliant time together that we’ll always remember.”
