The May Bank Holiday Weekend saw 12 young people from Buddies, a support group for families of children with additional needs in Skipton, visit the Bendrigg Tust Centre, thanks to the support of a £1,500 grant from Trefoil.
Accompanied by their parents and carers the children had a brilliant time enjoying activities such as canoeing, climbing, a zip wire and a tube slide. Bendrigg ensures all of these activities are accessible to all young people through their qualified and supportive team. At the end of the weekend the children who had taken part were heard remarking, “I want to live here”, and “when are we coming back?”
