David McArthur Chief Exec and Stiopa
Trefoil has been supporting the Children and Young People of Chernobyl via the Chernobyl Children’s Charity with educational grants for over two years. During a recent visit to Scotland by around twenty of the Children, they presented David McArthur the Chief Executive of Trefoil with a plaque in appreciation of the support provided. Currently Trefoil is providing sponsored University Places allowing the 2nd generation of Children and Young People who have been affected by the Nuclear accident to be educated in their own area in professions beneficial to the people of Belarus. All of the Children are staying with Scottish hosts and the visit is being co-ordinated by the Chernobyl Childrens Lifeline http://www.chernobyl-childrens-charity.co.uk.
