StockXchange Shopping Evening

On Wednesday 11 May 2011 StockXchange, Edinburgh hosted a fundraising shopping evening on behalf of Trefoil. Fifty shoppers turned up at the Young Street shop to enjoy a glass of fizz and 10% discount on their purchases. StockXchange also donated a percentage of sales to Trefoil.

The fizz, very kindly donated by Virginie Brouard of Le Di Vin, Edinburgh, helped to “relax” the shoppers and they all dug deep into their pockets to support Trefoil. The event was captured on film by photographer, Linda Mellor, who also very kindly donated her services for the evening. Panoply Events organised the evening for Trefoil at no charge and is currently planning a similar event to take place in November.

A total of £455.10 was raised on the evening for Trefoil and this will enable the charity to provide some more holiday grants for deserving children.

A big thank you to Le Di Vin, Linda Mellor, Jane and Christine of StockXchange and Lauren and to all those who came along and supported the event.
